Job summary

Northeast Healthcare Recruitment, Inc. (NEHCR) seeks an experienced Registered Nurse Care Manager to anchor oncology care across the treatment continuum. The role blends clinical expertise with care coordination, education, and patient advocacy in a hybrid work model.

You will support patients in Mobile and Daphne, AL, guiding them through navigation and proactive care, with a focus on outcomes and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• 2–3 years of oncology treatment and symptom management.

Job description

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse Care Manager to join our interdisciplinary care team and serve as a clinical anchor for patients navigating the cancer care continuum. This hybrid role combines clinical expertise, care coordination, patient advocacy, and education to ensure patients receive timely, proactive, and holistic support throughout their treatment journey.

Locations:

Mobile & Daphne, Alabama

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Work Arrangement:

50% Onsite (1 day/week in Mobile, 1 day/week in Daphne) | 50% Remote

Compensation & Benefits:

• Annual salary: $75,000 – $95,000, based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted RN license.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in oncology treatment and symptom management.
• Strong clinical assessment, care coordination, and patient advocacy skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficiency with electronic health records and healthcare technology platforms.

Preferred:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing BSN.
• OCN certification or related specialty certification.
• Experience in value-based care or population health management.
• Experience working with diverse patient populations and addressing health disparities.
• Experience using athenahealth EHR.
• Care management, case management, or navigation experience within oncology settings.
