Job summary

BayCare in Largo, FL is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. You will provide medical nutrition therapy, perform thorough nutrition assessments, and counsel patients, families, and groups to support disease management, treatment, and prevention.

The position requires Florida licensure (or attainment within 12 months) and RD through CDR, with a preference for a Master's in Food & Nutrition and board certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Food & Nutrition or related field required.
• Florida licensure or attainment of licensure within 12 months of employment.
• Master's degree in Food & Nutrition or related field preferred.
• Board Certified Specialist via CDR or other professional group preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide optimal medical nutrition therapy through comprehensive nutrition assessment and counseling for disease management, treatment and/or prevention.
• Define nutritional status, make recommendations and implement nutrition interventions.
