Natchitoches Regional Medical Center, in collaboration with Cura Hospitality, is seeking a Registered Dietitian in a hybrid role. You will assess nutritional needs, plan and implement interventions, and support quality of life for residents in a hospital-leaning care setting.

The role emphasizes education, care plan creation, MDS completion, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. Masters-level training and state licensure are preferred, with strong commitment to ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (prior to 2024) or related field.
• Master's degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Passes a national examination administered by the CDR or meets A.N.D. eligibility.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years per CDR requirements.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for comprehensive assessments and care planning.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsabilités

• Provide Nutrition Assessments for admissions and quarterly/annual reviews.
• Educate residents on nutrition as needed.
• Create and update care plans for nurses and aides.
• Complete MDS for Section K and CAAs.
• Use nutrition-focused physical exams to identify malnutrition.
• Attend care conferences with families.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team in weekly meetings.
• Participate in QAPI and quality improvement meetings.
• Perform monthly kitchen inspections and meal service audits.
