Job summary

Bayhealth is seeking a Registered Dietitian in Dover & Milford, DE. Starting at $70,000 plus a $3,000 sign-on bonus, with 32 or 40 hour work weeks and full benefits. A hybrid-remote schedule is available, offering opportunities across inpatient acute care to bariatrics.

Responsibilities include completing nutritional assessments, educating staff and patients, documenting care plans, reviewing menus, and coordinating with physicians on nutritional status. Vaccination policies apply.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration and licensed per state regulations.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition & Dietetics or related field.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards.
• Computer experience with word processing, spreadsheets, and various software.

Responsibilities

• Complete nutritional assessments for residents to create care plans with nutritional goals.
• Provide education to patients/residents, families, nursing, dietary service, and other community staff on issues regarding special diets and patient/resident dining needs.
• Document assessment of patients/residents with nutritional goals and interventions in the medical record.
• Review and approve patients’/residents' daily menu, snack, and supplement programs.
• Communicate with physicians and clinical staff on patients’/ residents’ nutritional status.
• Attend resident rounds and nutrition meetings, and maintain clinical nutrition policies to support regulatory compliance.

Requirements
