Job summary

Arundel Lodge Behavioral Health is seeking a Substance Abuse Counselor to deliver counseling, recovery-focused support, and coordinated care for individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use needs. The role includes leading in-person and virtual IOP/outpatient groups and developing person-centered care plans.

Qualifications

• Licensed or credentialed substance use treatment professional (CAC-AD/CSC-AD/LCADC or LCSW-C/LCPC).
• Experience in substance use and mental health treatment.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong documentation and privacy compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical assessment and treatment planning.
• Provide individual, group, and family counseling (CBT, psychotherapy, crisis intervention).
• Lead IOP and outpatient recovery groups onsite and via telehealth.
• Coordinate discharge plans and connect clients to community supports.
