6 Degrees Search is seeking an Associate Attorney to join a prominent AmLaw 200 firm's Real Estate Practice in Tampa, FL. This hybrid role offers meaningful responsibility, exposure to sophisticated real estate transactions, and collaboration with a diverse client base.

Candidates should have a JD from a top-tier law school, Florida bar admission, 2–6 years in real estate transactions, and strong drafting, research, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in Florida, in good standing.
• 2-6 years of substantive experience in real estate transactions.
• Experience representing developers, owners, investors, and lenders in financing, development, and investment matters preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with loans, joint ventures, entity documents, and leases.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently on client matters and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Prior practical business experience in commercial real estate is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on a wide range of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, joint ventures, and leasing.
• Draft, review, and negotiate transactional documents, including purchase agreements, financing documents, joint venture agreements, and leases.
• Provide strategic counsel to clients on structuring complex real estate investments and developments.
• Collaborate with partners and other team members to manage client matters efficiently.
• Participate in all stages of transaction execution, from initial diligence to closing.
