Job summary

Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP is seeking a Real Estate Paralegal to support sophisticated, high-value commercial transactions. The role involves reviewing titles, surveys, and UCC filings, coordinating with title companies and underwriters, and assisting with closing matters in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in real estate transactions; a paralegal certificate is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and five or more years progressive work experience in the real estate transactional area, preferably in a law firm.
• Paralegal certificate from an ABA-accredited program is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of title, survey, zoning review and analysis; UCC searches.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze title commitments, policies, and underlying title documents.
• Interpret ALTA surveys and zoning reports for transactional impact.
• Review and summarize declarations, REAs, and CCRs for material restrictions or risks.
• Coordinate with title companies, underwriters, and third-party consultants to finalize due diligence.
