Job summary

Benchmark Human Services is seeking a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) to conduct nutritional assessments and participate in IFSP processes for Birth to Three clients. The role involves remote work with some home visits in Fairfield County and requires at least 10 direct service hours per week.

The ideal candidate is an RD with CT credentials, a valid driver’s license, and experience in pediatric nutrition therapy.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Dietitian and licensed per CT requirements.
• Birth to Three Infant Toddler Family Specialist credential (120/123) before evaluations.
• Valid Connecticut driver's license and auto insurance.
• Experience providing nutrition therapy to children.
• Knowledge of Birth to Three program and Natural Learning Environment practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nutritional assessments and dietary intake evaluations.
• Develop IFSP and monitor outcomes as part of the team.
• Provide EI supports to families for the child’s development.
• Attend Birth to Three trainings, meetings, and team discussions.
• Make referrals to community resources to support nutritional goals.
• Coordinate with other providers and maintain health and safety standards.
