Job summary

Benchmark Human Services is seeking a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) for the Birth to Three program in Connecticut. This part-time role involves performing nutritional assessments, contributing to IFSP development, and providing EI supports to families within a hybrid model that includes remote and home visits in Fairfield County.

Ideal candidates will hold an RD credential, have experience with Birth to Three or pediatric nutrition, and possess a CT driver’s license with required

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian with appropriate certification (RD).
• Experience with Birth to Three early intervention is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nutritional assessments and plan IFSP-based nutrition goals.
• Monitor outcomes as part of the team and provide EI supports to families.
• Administer evaluations and assessments in compliance with CT Birth to Three regulations.
• Develop rapport with children and families to promote a healthy learning environment.
• Utilize Natural Learning Environment Practices and evidence-based strategies.
