Job summary

University of Michigan Health System is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic radiographs and provide patient care in a fast-paced environment. You will obtain patient history, explain procedures and exercise professional judgment under ARRT guidelines.

The role requires ARRT registration or eligibility, with time-bound exam attempts, and participation in a team focused on patient safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a school of radiologic technology or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Registration by ARRT required or eligible with first exam attempt within 6 months from hire/transfer; 3 attempts within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality diagnostic procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of universal precautions and other safety protocols.
• Respond to patients’ changing conditions and provide appropriate clinical information.
• Display excellent customer service while maintaining patient confidentiality.
