Job summary

Biogen is seeking a Senior Program Planner to enable strategic portfolio planning across discovery, development, and commercialization. You will develop integrated program plans, forecast resources and finances, and provide governance-ready data using Planisware and related tools.

You will partner with program leaders, Clinical Development, Regulatory, and other R&D functions to maintain accurate timelines and scenario planning as strategies evolve, driving data-driven decisions and process

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, life sciences, or a related field.
5 years of experience in program management.
Experience in biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
Experience supporting drug discovery, clinical development, or portfolio planning.
Demonstrated experience with Planisware or similar PM platforms.
Strong understanding of project management, integrated planning, and timeline management.
Knowledge of clinical development processes and milestones.
Experience with data quality management, reporting, and analytics.
Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Create and manage integrated program timelines across discovery to commercial stages.
Partner with program leaders and cross-functional teams to build and maintain high-quality program plans.
Monitor milestone dates and ensure data accuracy across plans.
Develop scenario planning and strategic portfolio modeling as strategies evolve.
Generate portfolio reports and analytics for governance, finance, and resource forecasting.
Collaborate with RM, Finance, HR, IT to improve processes and data quality.
Drive continuous improvement in activity-based planning, automated forecasting, dashboards, and portfolio capabilities.
Serve as a subject matter expert in portfolio planning tools and processes.
