Job summary

Chicago Bridge & Iron Company seeks a seasoned QA/QC professional to lead quality activities on industrial construction projects. You will implement ITPs, coordinate NDE, and ensure compliance with ASME and API standards.

Hybrid/remote role with periodic travel to Newport, Oregon. A degree in engineering or AWS CWI is preferred, with 7+ years of QA/QC experience in heavy construction.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of QA/QC experience on industrial/heavy construction projects (tanks, vessels, piping, structural steel).
• Engineering degree preferred; AWS CWI certification considered in lieu of degree.
• Familiarity with ASME/API/NDE codes and ISO 9001 standards.

Responsibilities

• Support QA/QC for a project or facility with inspections and test plans.
• Coordinate welding and QA/QC engineers and inspectors to complete inspections and testing.
• Review client/project specs to identify quality requirements and control points.
