Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join its manufacturing team. The role focuses on ensuring products meet specifications through visual and dimensional inspections across the production cycle.

You will work closely with production and engineering to identify issues, document findings, and support corrective actions. This position offers a hybrid schedule and opportunities for training in advanced QC methods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training in quality control is a plus.
• Experience as a Quality Control Inspector in manufacturing environment preferred.
• Familiarity with inspection tools and techniques including calipers, micrometers, gauges.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products.
• Utilize calibrated measuring instruments and testing equipment to verify product specifications.
• Document inspection results accurately and report any non-conforming products or processes.
• Collaborate with production and engineering to investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain inspection records and traceability documentation per policy and standards.
• Participate in internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
