Job summary

Getinge in Streetsboro, OH is seeking a Senior QA Tester with 5+ years of testing and system engineering experience to write and execute tests, report defects, and contribute to product quality across web and desktop applications.

You will work with MS Team Foundation Server, T-SQL, and Visual Studio to create test plans, support multiple projects, and help improve reliability, usability, and performance.

Qualifications

• More than 5 years of Testing and/or System Engineering experience required.
• Experience writing unit tests (e.g., NUnit).
• Experience with risk-based decision making.
• System integration troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Experience with SQL Server and writing T-SQL queries.

Responsibilities

• Ensure product or service meets established quality standards for reliability, usability, and performance.
• Write and execute tests, and report issues.
• Document defects using MS Team Foundation Server and report defects to developers.
• Develop testing programs addressing database impacts, test scenarios, regression testing, and usability.
• Participate in product design reviews to provide input on requirements and schedules.
• Track and report QA metrics against established targets.
• Define testing procedures and expectations with business and development teams.
• Support testing efforts for multiple projects and releases, including integration and system testing.
• Provide estimates for testing tasks and communicate QA activity status.
