Job summary

Gelest Inc., part of the Mitsubishi Chemical Group, is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician in Morrisville, PA. The role supports the quality system, data analysis, and cross‑department collaboration to drive continuous improvement.

The position is hybrid, onsite 3 days per week with potential multi-site travel. Candidates should have a science/engineering background and strong communication, planning, and data skills to maintain quality standards and contribute to customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with personnel at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, organize, and implement work activities.
• Ability to write reports, conduct audits and author material safety data sheets.
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• This is a hybrid position, onsite 3 days per week, or more as necessary.
• Travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Aid in the development of continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain ISO compliance for certification as well as interpreting standards and apply them to the quality system.
• Assist in the development and execution of continuous improvement projects.
• Perform statistical and mathematical data collection related to continuous improvement projects.
• Support ERP maintenance.
• Assist in the investigation of out-of-specification batches.
• Write Quality Documents and support testing related to customer feedback.
• Other duties as assigned.
