Job summary
Popular is Puerto Rico’s leading financial institution, with a long-standing presence across the United States, the Caribbean and Latin America. We are seeking a QA Engineer to plan, develop and execute manual and automated testing to ensure product quality and reliability.
You will design tests, debug issues, create test plans, and collaborate with developers, product managers, and IT to deliver high-quality software.
Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering or related fields.
- 2+ years of software development experience.
- 2+ years of experience in developing and executing test scenarios.
- Experience developing automated tests and test frameworks with common commercial testing tools such as ALM, Katalon, LoadRunner, Rational Functional Tester, SilkTest, and/or Junit, Selenium, Screeplay.
Responsibilities
- Identify application deficiencies and work with software engineers to determine corrective actions.
- Develop, execute, and manage testing project plans, timelines, and dependencies.
- Create detailed test plans and test cases.
- Design, develop and execute automation scripts using testing tools.
- Publish software defect reports, and track defects to closure.
- Follow IT development processes and security compliances.
