Job summary

myBridge Corporation in San Jose, CA, is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Analyst to ensure software meets requirements before release. The successful candidate will work with developers, business analysts, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify defects and validate functionality, ensuring a dependable user experience.

You will develop test plans, execute functional and exploratory testing, manage defects, validate data, and participate in sprint planning and release

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Experience with manual testing and defect management.
• SQL knowledge for data validation.
• Familiarity with API testing and web apps.
• Basic exposure to test automation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications.
• Develop test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and user acceptance testing.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution.
• Collaborate with development teams to investigate issues and verify fixes.
• Validate data accuracy, business rules, and application workflows.
• Participate in sprint planning, requirement reviews, and release readiness meetings.
• Support test automation initiatives and maintain reusable test scripts.
• Conduct API testing using Postman or equivalent platforms.
• Maintain test execution reports, defect metrics, and quality documentation.
• Recommend improvements to testing standards and software delivery processes.
