Job summary

Citi is hiring a Python Risk Developer at Vice President level in London, with a hybrid work model. You will design and build distributed Python micro-services for a front-office risk platform, handling large data volumes, with RabbitMQ transport and OpenShift/Kubernetes deployments.

You will work with Traders and Risk Managers, integrate analytics models, and collaborate with global technology teams to continuously improve performance and delivery of critical risk systems.

Qualifications

• Ideally from a Commodities Risk background, though any front-office derivatives experience useful.
• Experience interacting with trading desks to analyse and resolve issues quickly.
• Hands-on Python experience plus SQL Server and Parquet exposure.
• Evidence of delivering across the full development lifecycle.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot production issues.
• Experience with analytics libraries.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high-performing Python micro-services for a front-office risk platform.
• Collaborate with Traders, Risk Managers and MQ A team to gather requirements and fix issues.
• Integrate with Market Data, Trade Repository, Analytics components.
• Work with global Citi technology teams across geographies.
• Stay updated with latest technology trends and approaches.
