Job summary

Gartner IT is seeking a Software Developer to design and implement Python-based web applications that support our Consulting & Insights Technology strategy. You will contribute to architecture discussions, review business requirements, and participate in code reviews in a fast-paced AGILE-SCRUM setting.

The role requires 2+ years of full stack web development, strong Python skills, Django/Flask experience, and solid SQL knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 2+ years' experience in software development with full stack web applications development
• Strong knowledge of Python programming language
• Hands on experience with Django, Flask or other Python frameworks
• Strong experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Experience with either AWS OR ReactJs
• Experience with relational databases using SQL (SQLServer, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
• Good problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Designing, implementing, unit, integration testing and supporting Python based applications and services
• Contribute to the review and analysis of business requirements
• Collaborate on architecture and technical design discussions
• Perform and participate in code reviews, peer inspections and technical design/specifications
• Documenting and review detailed design
