Job summary

Watermark Publishing, a Honolulu book publisher, seeks an organized publishing operations coordinator to support editorial, sales and marketing. Reporting to the publisher and collaborating with the marketing manager, the role contributes to a growing regional publisher with 300+ titles.

The position is hybrid, 20-25 hours per week with responsibilities including author relations, inventory control, printer coordination, booklist and website maintenance, event support, and bookstore/distributor

Qualifications

• Experience in publishing operations or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 including Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Support editorial, sales and marketing efforts for a Honolulu publisher.
• Manage author relations, inventory, and printer coordination.
• Maintain booklists and website; assist with events.
• Fulfill bookstore and distributor orders; assist with website updates.
