Job summary

Qualifications

• Health and safety experience, ideally in Public Works, construction, or manufacturing.
• Familiarity with Federal and State safety regs (OSHA, DOT, LNI).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Minimum high school diploma; degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with health and safety policy implementation and training.
• Facilitate development and scheduling of safety training.
• Maintain compliance, training records, and PPE inventory.
• Assist with safety onboarding for new field employees.
• Lead safety committee meetings and document minutes.
• Conduct risk assessments, site inspections, and internal audits.
• Investigate incidents and support corrective actions.
• Prepare technical reports and safety documentation.
