The Minnesota Department of Revenue seeks an Agency Chief Financial Officer to provide strategic financial direction and services for the department. This executive will lead the Financial Management Division, ensuring sound reporting, internal controls, and efficient operations in budgets, revenue accounting, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting.

Hybrid telework is eligible; the role requires leadership across a multi-fund, multi-biennium budget environment and collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Public Administration, Economics, or related field AND six (6) years of high-level management leadership experience that includes supervising and managing employees and financial management, analysis and reporting.
• Nine (9) or more years of advanced professional experience that includes leadership, managerial, or supervisory experience in organizational accounting, finance, budget and/or financial reporting.
