The City of Minneapolis is seeking an accounting professional to support financial reporting, grant accounting, and general ledger activities. This role involves preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and producing monthly financial statements and analyses.

Hybrid work arrangement available; no visa sponsorship. Minimum education is a Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, with 0–12 months of related experience encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or closely related field.
• 0–12 months hands-on accounting experience in operating/capital projects and financial statements.

Responsabilités

• Handle grants, accounts receivable/payable, deposits, and capital projects.
• Prepare journal entries, reconcile ledgers, and finalize trial balance.
• Produce month-end financial and statistical reports and narratives.
