Job summary

Curley & Pynn Public Relations Management – The Strategic Firm® in Orlando seeks a Public Relations Intern for Spring 2027 and Summer 2027 to support client accounts on a hybrid schedule. You will work with senior leaders and assist with research, writing, media relations and event support.

The internship provides hands-on training across PR and marketing, with compensation of $15/hour for up to 20 hours per week and flexible hours to accommodate classes.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed degree in PR, journalism, or related field.
• Strong AP style knowledge.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Respectful collaboration with diverse teammates.

Responsibilities

• Writing news releases, newsletter articles, pitches, social media posts and other content.
• Conducting online and traditional research.
• Coordinating and staffing special events.
• Developing media lists, pitching and documenting press coverage.
• Brainstorming concepts and designing marketing collateral.
