DLH Corp. in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a Public Health Technical Writer to join our team supporting CDC in a hybrid role with regular Atlanta-based engagement and periodic visits to campus.

You will produce technical and clinical HIV content for web and print, edit SOPs and reports, ensure 508 accessibility, and collaborate with division staff to translate needs into clear, compliant materials. • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• Minimum of three years of technical writing and/or scientific writing experience.
• Strong expertise in developing web/intranet content, public-facing fact sheets, and technical training materials utilizing federal Plain Language guidelines.
• Proven ability to navigate rigorous scientific clearance processes and ensure all reports, dissemination of products, and digital content are Section 508-compliant.
• Must have knowledge of clear communication, plain language, and writing for consumers.
• Must meet deadlines and be self-starting.
• Must work well alone and in a multidisciplinary team.
• Must have meticulous attention to detail and strong grammar
• Must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance.

Responsabilidades

• Writing technical, scientific, and consumer-focused HIV content for dissemination through a variety of channels including web pages and other digital channels.
• Writing and editing Dear Colleague Letters, SOPs, technical documents, reports, and internal communication.
• Copy editing and content editing scientific and consumer-focused HIV products.
• Communicating via email, over the phone, and in person with Division staff, determining needs, and translating needs into well-produced products.
• Following writing/editing projects through all phases of development, including concept, research, development, clearance reviews, and production.
