Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communication, advertising, public relations, or public health.
• 4–6 years in communications, marketing, or public relations in health or government settings.
• Strong writing, editing, and presentation skills with clear messaging.
• Experience ensuring ADA Title II and accessibility compliance.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate external communication strategies and campaigns.
• Coordinate advertising plans and materials to raise awareness of programs and services.
• Serve as liaison to ensure consistent messaging across channels.
• Create collateral (fact sheets, brochures, social content, videos, reports).
• Support public health campaigns and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Coordinate with partners and vendors on communication materials.
• Advise division programs on messaging tactics and approaches for diverse audiences.
• Ensure accessibility and ADA compliance of all public materials.
• Respond rapidly during public health emergencies when needed.
