Job summary

The California Department of State Hospitals – Atascadero is seeking a licensed Psychologist for an 11-month limited-term, intermittent role. The incumbent will perform Admission Psychological Assessments, cognitive testing, and comprehensive psychological evaluations under supervision by the Chief/Senior Psychologist.

This hybrid telework position is based in San Luis Obispo County with multiple 1500-hour roles available.

Qualifications

• Must be currently licensed in one of the psychologist classifications listed in the job posting.

Responsibilities

• Complete Admission Psychological Assessment (APA) for patients.
• Conduct intellectual and cognitive assessments when clinically indicated.
• Conduct psychological assessments.
• Create and monitor behavioral interventions.
• Provide timely feedback and document results of assessments and evaluations.
