Job summary

Elevance Health is seeking a Provider Contract Consultant to create and manage contract templates, ensuring consistency and regulatory compliance across the enterprise.

This hybrid role collaborates with Legal and provider contracting management to review language for RFPs and audits, recommend changes, and develop tools to support negotiators and reporting to leadership. A BA/BS and at least 3 years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years related experience with contract language, development, negotiation, and/or administration.
• Experience with contract templates and regulatory requirements is preferred.
• Ability to coordinate with Legal and contracting teams and to communicate changes clearly.

Responsibilities

• Creates and maintains contract templates used across the enterprise.
• Ensures contracts meet federal, state and regulatory requirements.
• Recommends language changes and alternative language for specific uses.
• Reviews contract language in response to RFPs, audits, and legal clarifications.
• Presents contract modifications for approval by governing committees.
• Educates contract negotiators on language impacts and negotiation strategies.
• Maintains tracking software to support reporting to leadership and stakeholders.
• Develops tools to assist contract negotiators in negotiating effective contracts.
