Job summary

McKesson is seeking a Proposal Development Specialist to lead and support the strategic development of moderate to complex high-value RFP responses across North American Pharmaceutical Services, advising Sales and cross-functional teams.

This hybrid role requires coordinating proposal teams, applying project management best practices, and continuously improving content and reporting. Base pay range is listed; Las Colinas office with on-site requirements two days per week.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant experience (degree or equivalent) in business, legal, or a related field.
• 3+ years of business experience developing and managing proposals in a corporate setting.
• Proven leadership and project management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication and exceptional editing/document organization capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Draft, develop, and assemble end-to-end proposal responses, integrating cross-functional input.
• Lead and coordinate proposal response teams involving Sales, subject matter experts, and stakeholders.
• Provide strategic bid consultation to Sales and other stakeholders on bid objectives and risk considerations.
• Manage proposal projects end-to-end, applying project management best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement of proposal content, workflows, and response quality.
• Improve RFP content and reporting metrics to ensure accuracy and optimization.
