Job summary

Allstate Long Island City is hiring a Moderate Inside Property Adjuster trainee to support policyholders with water loss claims. The role blends in-office days (Tue-Thu) with remote work on Mon and Fri, in a modern LIC office.

You will inspect damages virtually, review coverage, prepare estimates in Xactimate, and settle claims promptly. You’ll communicate via phone, email, and text with customers, contractors, and vendors, building a fair and accurate claims process.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• Experience using Xactimate and claims software preferred.
• Ability to assess property damages and determine claim coverage.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills for remote interactions.
• Ability to work independently and manage time in a virtual environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to policyholders and stakeholders.
• Virtually inspect damages, investigate coverage, and prepare estimates.
