Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER NAS division is seeking a Field Based Project Manager in a hybrid role located at Mountainside, NJ or New York, NY. You will manage major electrical and mechanical project orders for high-rise, hospital, university, and data center projects, coordinating with internal teams to meet schedule and budget.

The role requires 5+ years of project management experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and a valid driver’s license. PMP not mandatory but preferred. Travel around 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Relocation not offered; reside within 50 miles of Mountainside, NJ or NY, NY.
• Eaton does not sponsor work visas for this role.

Responsibilities

• Manage the technical aspects of major electrical assembly project orders meeting specs and timelines.
• Utilize the Project Management team resources assigned to their projects.
• Apply deep knowledge of sales planning services to internal clients.
• Upgrade processes and deploy new initiatives based on analysis and trends.
• Ensure compliance with processes to achieve business goals.
• Leverage competitive information for Eaton’s advantage.
• Negotiate resources and priorities for customers.
• Improve Eaton and customer financial position.
