Job summary
Atlas Copco North America LLC seeks a technical Applications Support engineer to assist with compressor system design, application engineering and proposal development for OHP and GPP lines within AGA. You will manage project execution to satisfy customers in documentation, technical requirements, and on-time delivery.
Key tasks include responding to inquiries, designing systems, developing proposals, and supporting sales with customized solutions.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in application engineering, especially for rotating and/or reciprocating equipment.
- 2–3 years of experience in project/contracts management is a plus.
- Bachelor's (4-year) degree in mechanical engineering or related field, and/or equivalent education and training.
Responsibilities
- Review and respond to customer inquiries and specifications in a timely manner.
- Design compressed air systems to meet customer requirements.
- Develop proposals for high pressure gases systems.
- Assist sales to promote Atlas Copco customized solutions and products.
- Coordinate with global teams for proposals, contracting and execution.
- Travel to customer sites and present as necessary.
