Job summary

HARTING Americas, a subsidiary of HARTING Technology Group, seeks a Project Engineer (Hybrid; based in Elgin, Illinois) to manage customized cable assembly projects and support regional growth. You will serve as the local technical and economic contact, coordinate multi-department efforts, and guide designs from concept through production, including customer quotations and production transfer.

The role requires a B.E./B.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering)
• Prior experience with cable harnesses / cable assemblies / wire harnesses required
• 3+ years of experience in a relevant field

Responsibilities

• Act as local technical and economic contact for projects
• Coordinate and manage realization of customized cable assembly projects
• Support new solution development with design and manufacturing considerations
• Introduce new product designs into production and prepare customer quotations
