Job summary

Digital Promise is seeking a Project Director to lead the Powerful Learning team’s data strategy, evaluation frameworks, and performance metrics. You will develop dashboards and reports, coordinate with researchers and funders, and drive evidence-based insights across K-12 initiatives.

The role emphasizes applied research methods, data visualization, and scalable data pipelines, with a focus on measurable impact and equity in learning outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, statistics, data science, mathematics, or a related field is required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience with data warehouses, data transformation tools, and writing technical documentation is expected.
• Exceptional project management skills with knowledge of K-12 tech systems and data privacy practices.

Responsibilities

• Design theory of change and logic models mapping inputs to KPIs and ROI across pilots and research initiatives.
• Lead research design including longitudinal studies and control groups to show efficacy.
• Serve as primary research liaison with partners and funders to align strategy and outcomes.
• Implement internal evaluation systems to assess fidelity and operational effectiveness.
