CDM Smith is seeking an Entry Project Controls Specialist to join our Project Controls Team. The role supports planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and project performance, working with project managers to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

The ideal candidate demonstrates basic knowledge of project management methodologies, budgeting and finance concepts, with strong teamwork and communication skills and proficiency in MS Word and Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Entry knowledge of project management methodologies, budgeting, and finance concepts.
• Strong teamwork and communication; ability to adapt to fast-paced environments.

Responsabilités

• Gathers project progress information and updates schedules, costs and commitments.
• Develops time-phased cost and resource forecasts; validates project costs.
• Produces routine Earned Value Management and financial analyses.
• Documents impact of changes on cost and schedule baselines.
