Job summary

Hunt Utility Services, part of Hunt Consolidated, is seeking a Project Controls Manager to establish and maintain cost, schedule, and performance visibility across transmission and substation capital projects in Texas. You will support the Senior Project Manager and coordinate with Owner's Engineers, construction teams, and stakeholders to ensure financial and schedule discipline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant engineering, finance, or construction field.
• Strong understanding of project controls, cost management, and scheduling in utility or EPC contexts.
• Experience developing integrated project schedules and cost forecasts; earned value principles.

Responsibilities

• Track and maintain project cost and schedule performance across transmission and substation projects.
• Develop and update project schedules and cost forecasts with the Senior Project Manager.
• Perform cost tracking, forecasting, cashflow analysis and variance analysis.
• Perform schedule tracking and progress measurement to align planned vs. actuals.
• Validate inputs from engineers and project teams for accuracy and consistency.
• Develop and maintain project reporting dashboards and executive metrics.
• Ensure data integrity and governance across project systems.
