Job summary

ARCHITECHNICA, a Stockton, California–based architecture firm, seeks a Project Architect to lead technical development and delivery of public-sector projects with a focus on K–12 facilities. The role requires experience with DSA processes and California regulatory coordination, working closely with PMs to guide projects from programming through construction.

Qualifications

• Licensed architect in CA or eligible to obtain within one year.
• Proficient in Revit and construction documentation.
• Experience leading DSA projects and K–12 facilities preferred (senior level).

Responsibilities

• Lead project programming, coordination, and scheduling.
• Guide design development using hand sketching, SketchUp, Revit, and presentation tools.
• Oversee and contribute to construction document development using Revit.
• Prepare and coordinate project specifications writing.
• Support and validate cost estimating efforts.
• Coordinate bidding and contractor procurement processes.
• Perform construction observation and coordinate with contractors and consultants.
• Lead contract administration, including submittals, RFIs, and construction-phase documentation.
• Support business development, including client interaction and proposals.
• Mentor and support project team members across all phases.
