Job summary

Mithun is seeking a design-driven Project Architect / Architectural Designer with 10+ years of experience to join our interdisciplinary team in Los Angeles. You will lead design development for affordable housing and create compelling visual presentations while coordinating with consultants and clients.

We operate in-office Monday through Thursday with Fridays either in-office or WFH. Mithun emphasizes JEDI and sustainable, community-focused design across typologies and scales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in architecture.
• 10+ years of post-graduate experience, with affordable housing focus.
• Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
• Experience in all design phases and documentation.
• Ability to lead Revit model development (BIM).
• Architectural registration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Explore and develop conceptually strong design ideas for affordable housing.
• Create compelling design presentations using advanced graphics.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and client representatives.
• Produce accurate architectural documentation for all design phases.
• May participate in project pursuits, client presentations, and community engagement.
• Coordinate multiple consultants and engineered systems.
• Lead or contribute as a strong team member.
