Job summary

Career Team LLC is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to lead the accounting team across multiple projects, focusing on invoicing, analysis, and financial reporting. The role requires strong GAAP knowledge, budgeting across funding streams, and collaboration with senior leadership in a fast-paced environment.

The position is onsite/hybrid in the Greater Dallas area and reports to the Vice President of Finance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
7+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Advanced knowledge of GAAP and ability to reconcile complex balance sheets and P&L reports.
Experience with budgeting across multiple funding streams (WIOA/government contracting) preferred.

Responsibilities

Supervise, mentor, and train accounting staff; manage workload to meet deadlines.
Review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements for GAAP compliance.
Identify and implement streamlined accounting procedures and internal controls.
Ensure compliance with WIOA guidelines and related policies.
Direct budgeting, forecasting, and working capital planning for projects.
Lead month-end closing and coordinate with auditors as needed.
