Job summary

TPC is seeking a Junior Production Accounting and Audit Analyst to join the Commercials division. The role focuses on processing and analyzing commercial incentive documentation for state submissions, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of production accounting experience as a 2nd Assistant Accountant.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, lookup, pivots, large datasets).
• Working knowledge of film production cost reports, payroll, and accounts payable.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Georgia-based preferred.
• Familiarity with film accounting software (GreenSlate, SmartAccounting, PSL, Luca, Wrapbook).
• Experience with Film Production Incentives or incentive filings in relevant states is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process and organize commercial production incentive documentation with internal automation while meeting deadlines.
• Compile and manage tax docs, invoices, payroll reports, timecards, residency docs, vendor agreements, and proofs of payment.
• Reconcile expenditures against budgets, cost reports, and general ledgers.
• Prepare complete submission packages for audit or state film offices, noting missing or inconsistent documentation.
• Analyze expenditures to distinguish qualified vs. non-qualified spend with the audit team.
• Maintain workbooks and tracking methods for ongoing state filing deadlines.
• Track deadlines and keep submissions on schedule across multiple projects and jurisdictions.
• Assist in evolving internal accounting processes and technologies.
• Familiarize with new state qualification elements for incentive programs.
• Collect quarterly withholding reports.
