Job summary

Daimler Truck North America is seeking a Scrum Project Management Analyst II to join the DES team in Portland. You will manage PLATON-related backlogs, align changes across units, and support governance through planning meetings and budget reviews.

Strong collaboration and technical aptitude are required for this hybrid role in Portland. The ideal candidate brings domain knowledge in engineering systems, CAD tools, and PLM processes, plus the ability to learn rapidly and deliver practical

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field and 3+ years of relevant experience, or 6+ years in lieu of a degree.
• Experience defining, prioritizing, and maintaining backlogs for complex engineering or enterprise systems.
• Knowledge of PDM/PLM processes and familiarity with CAD tools.
• Ability to gather requirements and translate them into system improvements.
• Strong writing, reporting, and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Manage the backlog of engineering issues and future enhancement requests for PLATON.
• Coordinate with DTNA units for global alignment of system changes.
• Provide 2nd-level support and test future releases prior to deployment.
