Daimler Truck North America LLC is seeking a collaborative Product Owner to drive PLATON and related engineering tools improvements. You will manage the backlog, align changes across business units, and provide second-level support to ensure timely, effective solutions.
The ideal candidate will have experience in complex engineering systems, strong stakeholder engagement, and the ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment.
The Digital Engineering Solutions (DES) team purpose is to implement strategic IT initiatives and support existing IT systems that improve engineering processes. In this role, you will play a key role in the ongoing evolution of PLATON, support ESTR governance activities, and help prioritize and deliver improvements across DTNA's engineering systems landscape. Success requires strong collaboration skills, technical aptitude, and the ability to translate business needs into practical solutions.

Position offers a salary range of $86,000 to $110,000 USD
Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience.

ESTR is a cross-functional engineering forum that provides a structured governance process for identifying, evaluating, prioritizing, and advancing engineering tools, processes, and technologies. ESTR brings together stakeholders from across engineering disciplines to review business needs, develop solution concepts, align priorities, and recommend initiatives for funding or escalation through leadership channels.
