Job summary

Maurices Incorporated is seeking an Associate Manager for Product Management and Sourcing at our corporate Duluth, MN office. The role oversees one or two departments in partnership with a Manager or Director, driving product development, sourcing strategies, and supplier partnerships.

You will work with leadership to execute initiatives, manage timelines, mentor direct reports, and provide cross-functional collaboration to deliver quality products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, Fashion Merchandising, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in product management and sourcing.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to negotiate, influence vendors, and collaborate cross functionally with internal & external partners.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with leadership to execute product management & sourcing initiatives.
• Support supplier relationships, own cost engineering and negotiations, contributing to cost-effective sourcing strategies.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to facilitate communication and streamline processes in the product development lifecycle.
• Manage fabric prepositioning along with owning liability utilization plan.
• Manage overseeing production timelines and troubleshooting internal/external issues to meet due dates.
• Contribute insights and recommendations to enhance sourcing strategies and product quality.
• Manage product and vendor allocation, facilitates vendor performance evaluation in support of sourcing strategy.
• Support the mentorship and development of direct report(s).
• Provide administrative support to the Product Management and Sourcing teams as needed.
