Job summary

Waymo is seeking a seasoned litigation professional to join its Legal team in a hybrid role reporting to an Assistant General Counsel. You will manage information related to product litigation, investigations, and data requests.

You will lead processes, coordinate with outside counsel, and improve internal knowledge management. The role requires 5+ years of litigation experience, excellent communication, and strong organizational skills. Travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of litigation experience, either at a law firm or in-house.
• Excellent communication skills across levels, including executives and technical staff.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with policy, product, and engineering teams.
• Experience with e‑discovery processes and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Organize, collect and manage information related to product litigation, investigations, legal holds, and third‑party requests.
• Guide internal stakeholders and custodians through the litigation and investigations process, and assist with pre‑trial/testimony prep.
• Lead and streamline processes and dashboards to manage litigation, investigations, and claims effectively.
• Innovate knowledge management and document/data storage processes within the legal team.
• Support billing, vendor management, and tooling initiatives within Legal Operations.
• Monitor trends and advise on record retention and best practices, including AI usage.
