Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience developing and administering mobile applications.
Experience integrating RESTful services and APIs.
Experience with unit-testing frameworks and test-driven development or deployment practices.
Experience using bug-tracking and source-control tools.

Responsibilities

Build technical and professional skills through training, coaching, and hands‑on assignments.
Assist with the design, development, configuration, testing, debugging, deployment, and support of mobile, front‑end, back‑end, API, and integration solutions under the guidance of experienced team members.
Analyze existing applications and systems, develop logic for new or enhanced capabilities, write code, and test and debug solutions for standard assignments.
Modify and configure applications and systems in accordance with approved requirements and technical design documentation.
Develop responsive web and mobile‑enabled interfaces, back‑end services, business logic, data‑access components, and RESTful API integrations using approved PG&E technology standards.
Create and maintain system, development, testing, deployment, and support documentation, and obtain required reviews and approvals.
Resolve standard technical problems using sound analysis and judgment, and elevate complex issues when appropriate.
Communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, to share information, exchange data, and coordinate assigned work with internal and cross‑functional partners.
Participate in Agile delivery activities, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, estimation, testing, demonstrations, retrospectives, and continuous improvement.
Use approved AI‑assisted engineering tools to support coding, test development, documentation, troubleshooting, and productivity while complying with PG&E security, privacy, and governance requirements.
