Georg-Fischer in Oklahoma is seeking a Product Design Engineer to design and develop tooling for plastic piping installations. This hybrid role collaborates with production, operations and project teams to deliver robust tooling solutions.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in tool or equipment design, proficiency with SolidWorks, FEA, and GD&T, and a hands-on approach to prototyping and testing. Hydraulics/electromechanical experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.

Responsabilités

• Design mechanical tooling and equipment for plastic piping installations.
• Perform FEA on tooling and equipment.
• Conduct DFMEA and risk assessments.
• Prototype and test designs.
• Create GD&T drawings and BOMs.
• Manage ECO processes and product lifecycle.
• Support production, sales, and customers as needed.
• Collaborate with Product Management to reduce costs and improve performance.
• Lead or contribute to new product development projects.
