Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years in product safety or EMC evaluation or related lab work.
• Experience with third-party certification bodies (UL, CSA, TUV, Intertek) a plus.
• Strong understanding of physics concepts and high-frequency RF knowledge a plus.
• Ability to select appropriate test equipment for tasks with limited guidance.
• Proficient with MS Office and Teams; documentation formatting; VBA a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate new product designs and support changes.
• Determine test requirements and build test plans per ISO 17025.
• Document results and ensure compliance with standards.
• Analyze failures and suggest design changes.
• Author test reports for international cert bodies.
• Travel less than 5%; potential international meetings.
• Occasional work-from-home 2 days/week.
