Job summary

Nestlé Health Science is seeking a Procurement Specialist/Category Manager to manage direct and contract manufacturing spend. This hybrid role will interface with procurement, category management, and stakeholders to optimize sourcing, pricing, contracting, and supplier management.

The successful candidate will develop category strategies, lead cross-functional projects, and drive sustainable value while aligning with global and local sourcing strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• Master’s degree or higher preferred.
• CPM certification a plus.
• 3+ years purchasing and/or material management experience preferred.
• SAP, Ariba and I-Nexus experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement long-term Category Sourcing Strategies to minimize risk and optimize supplier agreements.
• Lead or participate in supplier performance reviews with cross-functional partners.
• Support new products/technology launches and leverage supplier partnerships for innovations.
• Manage budget and price forecast review processes with cost modeling and market knowledge.
• Act as Single Point of Contact for factories and drive sustainable resolutions.
• Own OSCAR projects to drive savings and ensure supply and compliance objectives.
• Lead monthly Category Reviews and communicate business requirements to Category Management teams.
