Job summary

SENKO Advanced Components is seeking a Procurement Planner I to manage inventory for standard vendor accounts, schedule air shipments, and optimize freight costs. The role requires on-site presence at least three days a week (Tue–Thu) with standard hours 9:00 AM–6:00 PM PT.

The position emphasizes data accuracy, ERP proficiency, and collaboration with inside sales to adjust inventory as demand changes. Applicants should have a supply chain background and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (Supply Chain Management preferred).
• 2-3 years’ experience with inventory management.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) required.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage part numbers in ERP system.
• Prepare and enter internal and external purchase orders.
• Data entry for Inter-company orders and transfer orders.
• Process drop ship invoices and document filing/scanning.
• Coordinate light assembly of OEM product and sales samples.
• Support warehouse with re-packaging, relabeling and counting when needed.
• Track shipping advice, vendor promises, and update PO statuses.
• Negotiate product pricing with vendors and monitor order progress with suppliers.
