Job summary

BP seeks a Business Process Optimization Lead in Denver (hybrid) to identify and implement opportunities across Operations, Technology, Finance, and Supply Chain. You will drive standardization, automation, analytics, and continuous improvement, focusing on produced water logistics and data-driven performance.

You will build business cases, manage multiple initiatives, and lead stakeholder engagement to deliver cost reductions and efficiency gains. Travel up to 10% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, Analytics, Supply Chain, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in business analytics, operations, process improvement, project management, or operational excellence.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience with data analysis, reporting, and performance measurement.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and organizational skills.
• Up to 10% travel.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and prioritize opportunities to improve business processes, operational workflows, and organizational efficiency.
• Lead process mapping, root cause analysis, workflow redesign, and value stream assessments.
• Develop business cases and implementation plans supporting operational improvements and cost reduction opportunities.
• Measure and communicate the value generated through optimization initiatives.
• Design dashboards and reporting tools to support business decision-making.
• Collaborate with Operations, Technology, Finance, and Supply Chain to improve process reliability and cost visibility.
• Lead Water Logistics & Field Operations improvement initiatives and offshore coordination.
